A Poem I Wrote

This is a poem I just happened to write one day called "It Doesn't
Matter" ... Hope you all like it.

"It Doesn't Matter"

I search within myself to find this inner strength
I feel the tears asking to be free
Yet, I must refrain.
It doesn't matter,
this is me.

I am a friend that won't betray.
I can't change the way I feel
Like a soul that is a stray
but it doesn't matter,
this is me

Misery has consumed the light I used to see
This is where I stand.
I feel the love, but the pain is overwhelming
but it doesn't matter,
this is me

Have you ever really seen me?
I'm here, l'm hurting
I want to make it
I want to leave you in your sorrow
but it doesn't matter
Does it?

It never mattered.
It's easy for you not to see...
I don't believe I've failed you
I tried so hard
just to be...

It doesn't matter to you...
.....but it matters to me
