Thirst

I sit and watch the sunset in the darkness where I dwell. Anticipating
the unsettling hours ahead. The demon will be released, and there will
be no turning back. The sky gets darker as the minutes pass, and the
uneasiness seeps through my skin. I can not wait a second longer, for
the hunger grows within. I will embrace the creature that I am. I will
continue on this mission, to rid the earth of these abominations....and
fulfill my thirst.
