Holiday Spirit..

Once the weather starts to get even a hint of cool in the air, I always
start to think about the holidays. I am a holiday gal. I like
celebrating, and being in the spirit of happiness, and togetherness with
the people I love. I know we should all do that more often then just
during the holiday season, but if it is not possible, then I rely on the
holidays for that comfort.
There's many different kinds of comfort that I receive on the holidays.
There is comfort in the food, the drinks, and the desserts I eat with my
family. I love baking on the holidays. It makes me feel like my
Christmas will be just like the Christmas' in the stories I read as a
child. Hot cocoa, coffee, tea, egg nog, apple cider, and of course beer
and liquor. Haha.. There's also the music. I love putting on music that
suits the holiday. Fun music filled with laughter and cheer. It just
brings me back to when I was a young girl getting excited about
Thanksgiving and Christmas with my two sisters.
I have had really rough holidays as well growing up. I spent
Thanksgiving and Christmas in a NY shelter one year. Thanksgiving was
spent with the workers of the shelter. They cooked food for all the
residents at the shelter. My sisters, my mother, and I, all stood in
line and received our thanksgiving dinner. I wondered what my other
family members were doing, and where my Dad was that year as well. I was
thankful for the plate of food I had received though. For Christmas that
year, we were given a black garbage bag filled with hand me downs from
kids and familys who donated random used things to shelters for poor
families such as clothes, slippers, sneakers, books etc. My sisters and
I sat down together, with my mother, excited to go through the black
bag. We sought out anything that may fit us, or seemed cool to have. I
was appreciative that I got something at all for Christmas that year. It
was a year I will never forget.
Although I've been through good and bad holiday's throughout my years
growing up, I still hold this hopeful spirit in my heart and soul. I
only wish to give my future family a wonderful holiday year after year
when I get older. I have had numerous experiences in life that made me
greatful for life, and the little things that have graced my path
growing up. Its not about what you do, or where you are....Its about who
you are with...

You never know where you may be this upcoming holiday season, but
wherever you are, just thank God that your alive.

Take Care,

Sammy

Sad

Im so overwhelmed with life. I know I know, its typical right? 21 years
old figuring out where to go, and what to do...Except I know what I
want, and where I want to go. I want to do music. I can't stand anything
else except music. I want to spend life traveling and touring and
performing. I feel like that dream is so far sometimes. Im afraid of
losing it. I know my soul, and my heart won't, but where do I go? What
do I do? I have no guidance. I am broke half the time, because im 21
trying to go to school, work a bullshit job, and do most of the shit I
want, by myself. I struggle struggle struggle. Poor poor poor. Ugh. Why
can't the good people be prosperous, not the grimmy stingy people. I
know If I was in a place where I wasn't struggling, and I had all the
things I needed, id be there to help whoever needed it. Especially the
people who stood by me, and was there for me allll the times I didn't
have shit. No food for days, no place to go, no parents to guide me. I
relied on my friends. I love you all and im here for you no matter
what.
Today was a sad day.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.
God Bless Everyone

1 love,

September Weather

Breathe in, and then out.. Are you outside right now? Well if you are,
then you know that once you inhaled, you smelled the brisk and fresh
September air.

So today, I walked outside towards the train, and it was wonderful. I
love the feeling when the air just begins to get cool. Its warm enough
for a t-shirt, yet chilly enough for a hoodie. I love it. September is a
cool month. Now that I am in school, it feels even better. September
always reminded me, and probably many other people, about school
shopping, new clothes, new classes, and great anticipation towards the
holidays. I love the holidays too.

I decided that today I feel good, and its a great morning all because of
the weather. I was too tired to wake up, and would have rather been in
school or home on a work day, but the minute I walked out the door, my
attitude changed. Sweater weather is my favorite. I was born in the
middle of winter so maybe that's why. In any event, that's what I love
about this morning. haha...September memories truely are my favorite to
remember. I hope everyone has a september memory too, and if you do,
share it with me. :-)

I also hope everyone has a good day today.... in September.
Take care

New Idea

Hey everyone,

So I have just decided that I want to find a guitarist, a drummer, and
maybe even a trumpet player. I want to start a band. I rap, and sing at
times, and write and I play the trumpet....i want to have live music
behind me on a stage. I love live music, and I am looking for anyone who
is any of these and good to hit me up at sammysamz@tmail.com

Thirst

I sit and watch the sunset in the darkness where I dwell. Anticipating
the unsettling hours ahead. The demon will be released, and there will
be no turning back. The sky gets darker as the minutes pass, and the
uneasiness seeps through my skin. I can not wait a second longer, for
the hunger grows within. I will embrace the creature that I am. I will
continue on this mission, to rid the earth of these abominations....and
fulfill my thirst.

Humans.. Pt2

Im guessing it was already figured out that I would come back with more.
And here I am.
So......I sat on the train and I observed. I can't seem to shake how
many people I see who look miserable, evil, snotty, and pretty much like
plain jerks. I don't see happy, and nice looking people, and I never
seem to get a "good" vibe around most people on the train. I wonder if
it's because they don't want to be on the train, or is it that people
have become more evil over time?... hmmmm
I ponder...
As the world sinks, so does it's inhabitants. I feel sorry for the
people who walk around with filthy looks on their faces, and thoughts so
evil, that even they themselves cannot bear to speak them aloud. I feel
sorry for the bumbs who have the nerve to sit and ask for money. I'm
broke as hell trying to bust my ass for some cash, and I have to get
asked for it as I push myself to my next destination? Why? Why not get
up and work for your own dam money instead of asking for other people's
hard earned cash?... It's horrible.
I guess you could say im venting. Sorry. Im just thinking, and those
things bug me with everyday life. I wonder how I would feel if I lived
in Italy, or Ireland. Sometimes I wish I could just leave it all, and
explore the Earth that was given to me. The chance to roam free, and
travel all over the world. There are beautiful places beyond this
lonesome place I sit in right now, and I want to see those places up
close. Dreams can and should be reality. But you know what holds some
people back? Other people... Plain and simple. Other people are the
reason why some people give up on their dreams. People forget about what
they want and they focus on what someone else wants.. Forgetting, that
now that other person has all of their desires, while your sitting there
miserable, wondering where your life went. I am young, I have my whole
life ahead of me. I can't and won't let people take away what my soul
strives for. No one should. Believe in yourself, and I know it will push
you along more than if you didn't.
I guess I do over-think a lot, but I have high hopes for my future. I
hope God directs me there.

God Bless Everyone.
Have a good evening.

I have to get back to reading my 7th book of the Sookie Stackhouse
Novels... :-)

Food Food Food

I love food. I am obsessed with food. I am not overweight or anything, I
am a regular 5'7 135 lb chick.... but I really do have a passion for the
tastes of food. I love cheese especially. Who doesn't? I think cheese
is amazing because you could use cheese in dinner or dessert, so cheese
wins...

Food is the best thing on earth after water, obviously. I think there is
no better thirst quencher than water. Its the purest, cleanest,
healthiest thing to drink, besides 100% juice. I love to cook. If I
didn't love writing and making music as much as I do, my ass would be in
culinary school, because I love working with food. I want to open my own
restaurant one day too. A place where all my close friends and family
can come eat if they want or have to.

So my point is.. I love FOOD. Its great!

Cheese, Pizza, Spaghetti, Chicken, Mac n cheese, steak, sesame jack
Daniel's chicken strips, cheesecake, crab cakes & shrimp (although im
allergic, they r freaking good!) mixed greens, olives, avocado,
cucumbers, feta cheese, and balsamic vinegar. papaya, strawberries,
apples (red delicious), grapes, oranges, pineapples, kix cereal, turkey,
rice and beans, mashed taters lol, chocolate corn, string beans, snow
peas, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, milk, yogurt, hummus, triscuts,
cake, sushi, curry, roti, lobster tails (the dessert), cannoli's,
scones, ahhhh!!! moreee! cheeseburger, corn dogs, cheese fries,
smoothies, fried fish, fried chicken, hush puppies, potato salad, chop

dumplings dipped in peanut sauce, bbq spare ribs, rigatoni ala vodka
with mushrooms, garlic bread, brownies, cold stone ice cream, Kayla's

Blazed Quickie

t'was the night before tuesday when she sat by the shades. There were
thoughts of pure wonder running laps in her brain. She smoked, and she
thought, about glorious days. And took a look at the stars, while she
inhaled the haze. It fell upon her so quickly, and she became lost in
her mind. There was a puzzle piece missing and it wasn't easy to find.
So, she smoked and she thought, and she looked at the sky. She figured
maybe her thoughts were merely a product of "high".

And maybe she isn't sadly lost in her soul. If she never questioned
herself, she just wouldn't know. What life will become, with every walk
through a door. Because, the world gets thrown at you hard when you're
already down on the floor. But you have to pick yourself up, and take
what's there to be taken. Build on from the bottom, there is no need for
breakage. And thats what she thought, as she rolled another one up.
Something deep in a sense, yet easily common amongst.

She smoked and she pondered during that hot windless night. And figured
life was worth putting her thoughts through a fight.

I think.

Humans.. Pt. 1

It's been a little while since I've written in my online journal. I have
been busy writing music. Music is something to be cherished, but that
isn't my topic for the hour..

What I would like to touch base on today, is the human race. I have
observed, and observed, and, well, observed. And through my careful
observations, I have noticed how twisted human beings really are.
There's so many reasons why I would love to isolate myself from this
chaotic species. I want to start off with ( I know I shouldnt) but,
religion. All I am going to say is, I am what I am, and whatever else
anyone is, is their business. I can't stand people who criticize others
because of what they believe. Since when did it become anyone's
responsibility to dictate how others choose to live their lives? THEIR
LIFE. Something none of us treasure completely, to the fullest extent.
But why would we? We are human, and human beings live in risk, in greed,
and every other way possible.
In this age that we live in, there are numerous problems being
overlooked. Money, unfortunatly is the # 1 priority. I thought the earth
would be. What happened to fresh food, clean air, non-damaged
atmosphere, trading instead of money, long life, dedication to
relationships and family, and real love. What happened to that? Instead,
we have money hungry thieves looking for the next mind fuck to lay on
the human race, that will slowly eat away at our bodies and confused
souls.. Be stronger then that. Observe. The Earth is dieing, and when
the Earth dies, so do we. We need to cherish what we have, instead of
stupidly destroying it with carelessness and greed. Most humans will
never take a second to feel what's going on.
So anyway... Medicine.. People! Realize that medicine is killing you!
If your not living with a serious illness, then you shouldn't be feeding
yourself bullshit pills. Im pretty sure a lot of people won't trust a
complete stranger if they walked up to you in the middle of the block
and simply asked to talk, or even hold your hand. Nooooo, never, they
may be psycho...But you'll trust a handful of doctors you don't know, to
feed you pills that can kill you 20 years from now.. Think about that.
You don't know any of them.. They are strangers, and your life is worth
more than a pill, that you most likely don't really need.
Ok ok, so basically I let off just a little of what I think about... I
will come back with round two.. later
Goodnight Folks...and Take Care
